The history of cooperation between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and MTS began in 2016 with the signing of the first agreement on joint activities in the field of education, in particular, training schoolchildren in network etiquette, Internet literacy and cybersecurity, as well as organizing a series of lectures for teachers in Belarus on responsible behavior online.

During this time, such important social projects as “Children on the Internet” and the interactive exhibition “The Universe of the Internet”, which is part of the interactive exhibition, were visited, which in 2018 were visited by more than 9,000 students; summer IT camp for pupils of boarding houses; Republican competition of innovative projects for high school students and students "Information and Mobile Technologies".

The signing of a cooperation agreement today is aimed at creating a base for new promising projects and developing existing ideas related to the development and level of information literacy among students and teachers.
